Please pray that each of these special “friends” will bring comfort and the love of Christ to the children that receive them. Here is a special prayer that one of our Teddy Bear Brigade supporters wrote:
“Lord, bless the children; bless this offering of ‘friends’ that each one may bring warmth and comfort to the children confronting the difficulties of life. May these stuffed creatures not be seen merely as toys, but as items of love and compassion. May they say to those who receive them, God loves you and there are people in the world who care about your suffering. We pray that through these gifts, the children will know of our care for them and be drawn to the boundless love of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.”
