On March 23 & 24, 2012 the Teddy Bear Brigade and Altavista Elementary School teamed up to “Stuff a Bus” and make a difference in the lives of children. It was all part of the PTO’s annual Spring Fling carnival which provides games and rides for AES students and families. The school’s students and the local community were invited to bring new or gently loved stuffed animals and help stuff the big, yellow school bus in front of the school. The end result was 1,151 stuffed animals and $266 collected to aid the Teddy Bear Brigade ministry. Thank you to our friends at Altavista Elementary School and the town of Altavista for their strong support.
